| Tonight we will attend a dinner for foster families. We earned this priviledge by being licenced foster parents and adopting two babies through the state. Greg and I always look forward to this event. After a yummy dinner and some Christmas carol singing Santa apprears with his large red bag full of gifts for all the kids. When you send in your RSVP they have you include a list of your children's names, ages, and what kind of gift they would like. A Methodist church in town does the shopping to ensure each child gets something they like. The display of generosity is a true representation of the meaning of Christmas. This is the kind of generosity we can all be a part of even in these "difficult" times. When the worlds economies fail, I think it is our best opportunity to share with those in need. I don't know the future, and maybe this will get worse, or maybe it will get better. What I do know is that my security is not in man made structures, but in the fact that I am recieving a kingdom that can not be shaken. I can sleep peacefully at night because I do not live with the fear of lack. As I am faithful to give, I know He will supply all of my needs in Christ Jesus. And that is why I will have a MERRY Christmas. | | |
| On Saturday we have to say goodbye to the Frey family. It has been an amazing year. Not only have they been in Bozeman for their furlough, but they lived in a condo right by us! Our kids have played together every day they could. We are going to really miss them. There are so many memories to think back on over this year....

There are many more. I am so thankful for the opportunity we had this year to be neighbors. It will probably never happen again. (At least not here on earth!) Goodbye Frey family. We love you, will miss you and are praying for you!
| It was sixteen years ago on August fifteenth that I pledged to be married to my young husband. We are still young and it is hard to believe sixteen years have passed. What would I do with out Greg? He is the man of my dreams! He is and has been a loving and supportive husband. I am so thankful for him. I remember being sixteen years old and wondering if Greg was going to be the man I spent the rest of my life with. When I was seventeen we broke up and I thought "who ever marries this guy is going to be so lucky." When I was eighteen I was proposed to and at nineteen I said "I do". I am so glad that Jesus was the author of our love story. I am thankful that he had us meet early in life and I am excited to see what is on the horizon as we continue to live out the rest of our days together. Happy anniversary honey! I still do! Ten things I love about Greg: 10) He is loving and kind 9) He is an amazing father 8) He is a man of integrity 7)He devotes his time to our family 6) He is creative and very funny 5) He is a lot of fun to have a conversation with 4) He is sensitive to my needs and seeks to care for me 3) He is gifted in many ways ( ie. one of my favorite public speakers) 2) He supports me and the call of God on my life 1) He is the most unique person I know

| I can't believe it is August already. We are begining to countdown to the first day of school. It has been a very full summer. Of course in July we had little Owen. A week latter we went to Laurel to spend some time with family. We spent a day at Camp on the boulder celebrating it's 50TH anniversary. Greg took the boys on an overnight trip to Helena. He also took them to the fair. We did sweet pea and then had family come and visit for a week. No wonder we are all a bit tired. It has been fun and refreshing in many ways, but it is always nice when fall comes and we get back into our regular routine.

I have felt overwhelmed with the goodness and faithfulness of God this week. Children are such a blessing and we have now been blessed four times over! Little Owen William Western was born Saturday July 5 (just missed the fireworks!) at nine am. He was 7 lbs. 6oz and 21 1/4 inches long. He is perfect and we are so happy he has arrived! His siblings are all excited about him too. Andrew keeps saying, "he is very special Mom, I love my brother and I am not going to let any one hurt him." He also said, " I can't wait to see who he is and what he sounds like when he talks." It has been a joy to watch them all bond.
